"Unusual warmth around the world led to the warmest average May temperature since global climate records began in 1880. Additionally, this was the 39th consecutive May - and 351st consecutive month - with a global temperature that was above average."

  1. Nature has always produced ice, therefore anthropogenic ice machines are a fraud.

  3. So are we back to calling it Global Warming again?

  4. Paul Snedden I don't think so, because parts of the planet won't be warming, so "climate change" seems more technically correct.

  5. Undead Killa You have a reference for that claim? Citation or get out.

  6. And what's this "we" stuff, Undead Killa? There's a big wide world out there.

  7. Undead Killa USA is not global. It is not even one continent ...
Talk was about global average temperature. I understand that some people think that USA is the whole world but that is not exactly true :^)

  8. Cornelius Brackett too lazy to check "climate" and "season of the year" in the dictionary? Might come useful later...

  10. Undead Killa See, what you're doing -- denying data that don't jive with your opinion -- is exactly the problem. I see the data you're talking about and they're true, but they're not the entire story. It'd be like recording average rainfall in the US by having one measuring device only in my backyard. That's not a reasonable metric, right? You can't use just the contiguous 48 states' average temp as a proxy for GLOBAL temperatures. That's not valid. Or even close to reasonable.

  11. Someone in this discussion has a obvious agenda, that's clear enough.

  13. Undead Killa oh I'm getting it , you are from this school of logic : no elephants in my backyard - elephants don't exist.
Hottest decade in the States in 1930 , not now - no global warming. 😁
Just because people consider USA to be global power it doesn't mean that nature agrees..

  14. Undead Killa you position is one of lies and blatent point picking and not understanding science.
You've yet to post a single valid provable point in your defence.
Even to the point of using slight of hand and best of all links that debunk your own view point.
