John Boehner announced that he's quitting

John Boehner announced that he's quitting
The end of this Speaker quite fitting
He cried and he tanned
The Teas make a stand
His party continues its splitting

  2. Now is to hope whoever replaces him isn't worse.

  3. Steffan Rollins It will guaranteedly be worse. And that's awesome if you disagree with the vast majority of the Republican platform as I do.

  4. It will be awesome for the election cycle Craig Froehle since whoever it is will make the right look even more idiotic and irresponsible. My worry is whether or not his replacement will be more capable of wrangling the Tea Party members of the House into going the Speaker's way. That could be bad if whoever it is has better control over them.

  5. There was a House Speaker named Boehner
With a Tea Party caucus insaner
    He cried and did weep
But could not his seat keep
And will work for Fox News on retainer

  7. To quote Stephanie Miller, this morning, "After hearing the Pope give a Bernie Sanders stump speech, and realizing his Party's front-runner is Donald Trump, ...."

  8. I know this might be very optimistic but I'm hoping he is doing this so he can fall on the sword for the good of everyone. I have never been a fan on Boehner nor am I happy with what the Republican party has made him do while he was Speaker.

However it is my hope that he is doing this so he can pass a budget while compromising with the left in order to prevent a government shut down. He knows if he prevents the shutdown, they will kick him out so this is his way of saving face. Granted I have no evidence of this other then the fact that he announced he is resigning after the budget must be past

  9. Yeah, yeah, yeah…blahblahblah.

What I want to know (and of course the liberal media conceals it), is who is gonna take over Boehner's job of handing out checks on the congressional floor for those Congressmen who dutifully, like good little boys, voted in favor the Tobacco Industry's interests? Huh? HUH?

For pete's sake, these people have BOAT payments to keep up on!

  11. He's up to something.

I'm betting within the next two weeks some massive scandal will come to light involving Boehner. He's jumping out before it hits full force.

He's a power hungry loon--- no way he walks away of his own free will.

Also he'll be taking his payback job at some big lobbyist firm and collecting his $10 million a year paycheck / payback for all the dirty work he did for them.
