There once was a brown boy in Irving

There once was a brown boy in Irving
Of praise he was most deserving
The school was in shock
When he showed them his clock
The bigotry's pretty unnerving

Republicans are the stalwarts and progenitors of anti intellectualism, bigotry and hate.

  3. So at the close of the drama,
He went back home to his mama
    Who exclaimed with glee
    "you're going to MIT
and the White House to visit Obama!"

I just love limericks too, especially ones with happy endings, Craig Froehle . :)

  4. best thing that could`ve happened to the kid. now he`ll get his education free.

  5. Glen Warr that happens when you are a hard working intelligent caring person who understands time(: They call them scholarships- fyi both academia and athletics have opportunities for funding of higher Ed. The trick is to apply ones self.

    My point is a kid with that talent is going to get a free education likely anyways. He could have done without the handcuffing and bigotry- I bet if you ask him about that part it's not something he will likely feel "is the best thing" that could have happened. Yeah?(;

  10. Coincidentally, HR has ordered me never to show anyone my clock. No, wait, it wasn't "clock".

  11. Sam Hetchler Yes, HR did use the phrase "pencil stub".

  12. would it have made any difference if it had been a speaking clock :)

  13. That technically is the definition of a bomb, Peter Harris . It's just a clock that says "boom" really loudly.

  14. what does that say about analogue time piece dials William Wells

  15. Well, if I were a really stupid Texas racist, I'd say they must be "secret Islamic stealth bombs", and arrest all the brown people who wore one of them on their wrist. I mean, after all, even if it doesn't go "boom", it could really be a "hoax bomb" designed to steal our freedums. Murica!

  16. William Wells' new definition of "hoax bomb" - any clock that doesn't explode - should be added to Urban Dictionary.
