As it happens, I have a pile of Bullshiticus's work sitting next to me on the couch at this very moment, waiting for my attention. (And you can see what I'm doing instead :-)
Of course, Bullshitticus has nothing on the Chinese equivalent, Liu De Xiou, who had a magic pen that could capture the words of mortal men and scribe them as utter nonsense and could create numbers out of thin air. Together with his companion dog spirit, Esu Kiu Tsu, who ate paper and would slaughter one's ancestors in the night, they wreaked utter havok on young scribes in ancient times.

ReplyDeleteWriters block has ruled my day, so I could be considered Laziasfuk.
ReplyDeleteActually, I did have one college professor who had taken a child's shovel-and-bucket playset and spray-painted the shovel gold.
ReplyDeleteIn the midst of one bullshit answer, he pulled out the shovel, handed it to the bullshitting student, and said, "Here. You're going to need this."
Bob Lai if I thought my students would even grasp the significance, I would do it in a second. I used to have a rubber stamp.
