ReplyDeleteLupe Anguiano The Communists in power wanted a symbol greater than the tallest church steeples that are sprinkled across Berlin, so they built the massive Berliner Fernsehturm, which is both functional and symbolic.
ReplyDeleteWhen the sun is shining, ironically the reflection of the sun off the Fernsehturm is in the shape of a cross.
