When we let politics trump science, people are needlessly put in harm's way. http://arstechnica.com/science/2017/01/self-censoring-fears...
Damn it all Craig Froehle, apparently nobody can just smile for a minute anymore. Oh brave new world...
ReplyDeleteAmazing really is the best way to describe this story. A child finds a new friend in a neighbors dog after losing his a while back. I'm a believer in "you do the crime, you do the time", in this case, just a friendly reminder that trespassing is bad even if for an adorable reason like this one as its wrong and, these days, could get you killed. Love the story though. Still hope for our children and our future.
ReplyDeleteJedi Master Chuckster Cortes Sorry, but in the world I want to live in, a 9-year-old running up someone's driveway in broad daylight to hug their friendly dog isn't "trespassing" in any way, shape, or form, and doesn't pose any risk to the kid or to the dog. And I will fight for that world because the alternative profoundly sucks.
ReplyDeleteCraig Froehle same here, but we all know the real world could have had this kid shot just for going up this driveway, unless he was rich and White, maybe Christian and not gay, then maybe nothing would have happened.
ReplyDeleteFor the love of dogs....
ReplyDeleteHug them, when you can.
Boy loves dogs...boy misses dog.
Boy hugs dog.
It's a good good story.
Bruce Shark Mouth hugs don't count.
ReplyDeleteI used to pet neighborhood cats, particularly before I could have one.
ReplyDeleteLisa Chabot I still do.
ReplyDeleteTouching but man that dog sounded like a tractor lol. You could see they really loved each other when the dog saw the boy coming.
