I'm not in to alcohol, but I do like eggnog on it's own. I will say, however, that I have had very crappy eggnog before, so if that is all someone has had, I get why they don't like it. I also can't stand it when someone has added too much cinnamon; seems like that in particular really overpowers the drink.
