Trump's presidency is an existential threat to the planet, spending money on all the wrong things and starving the things humans actually rely on.

  3. What is it with the right? Do they want to make money on disasters and rebuilding? Do they only see short term opportunities and never look at the big picture? Do they want to keep better forecasting from the masses through the media? Or are they all just as stupid as tweety?

  4. LA Durant but now we've covered enough time, observation, analysis & consensus scientifically to accurately predict & direct how our business affects the environment shared by all

  9. defiy 1174, What data, you mean the data that dirty, corrupt, money grabbing, evil politicians gave us, "ha ha" really, look at the DATA before Al Gore scam, and look at how Al Gore and the other global warming/climate change peddlers are living.

  10. Yeah Al Gore didn't get elected President because he was trying to save our plant from global warming. Trump days it's a hoax, till he sees a massive tidal wave coming for him.

  11. Janet De Castro The first global warming sign Trump is going to see is the collapse in value of his coastal real estate holdings as the insurance industry pulls out. You cannot get a mortgage or a loan on real estate without property insurance.

  12. Really, so why does he call it a hoax. Can't he see other signs.

  13. Janet De Castro He is pandering to his shrinking base, keeping an election campaign promise to stay alive. He will fail to save the coal industry, fail to build a wall, fail to deliver tax reform, fail to replace the ACA, fail to bring back 1950's jobs for his STEM illiterate electorate, while destroying millions of real STEM jobs by getting out of Paris, TPP & NAFTA and destroying what is left of our export and tourist economy. He will not complete his term without initiating the next Great Recession, but from his perspective, it will be a very, very, very GREAT RECESSION and it will eclipse both recessions Bush II gave us.

  14. I agree he will fail but how many of u in the USA r going to suffer for this. Is he better than Bush II and Obarma.. I don't think so. He stopped the Obarma health care. I feel for u guys.

  15. The NOAA is one of the government agencies that is now proposed to be underfunded thanks to Trump.

  16. Perhaps most questionable is a "request" to limit the ability of forecasters to predict hurricanes and other severe weather with computer modeling. "NOAA requests a reduction of $5,000,000 to slow the transition of advanced modeling research into operations for improved warnings and forecasts," the budget blue book states.
