ReplyDeleteJohnny Cash over the end credits was tonally perfect. I just watched the blu-ray director commentary. One casual comment jumped out at me. Mangold said that audiences told him some of the landscape that went by looked very dystopian. He said that wasn't by any particular design they had a very limited budget, and any dystopian sense that audiences get is simply a reflection of actual crumbling American infrastructure.
