  1. As I've mumbled about elsewhere, the actual progress of this discussion with Republicans will go: climate change isn't real. Well, it's real but it's not a problem. Well, it's a problem but it's just cyclical. Well, it's much bigger than previous cyclical changes but it's not human-caused. Well, it's human-caused, but it will cost too much to avert. Well, we're screwed, but nobody could possibly have known this would happen and besides it's all the Democrats' fault for not fixing this when we had the chance!

  2. John Bump Schrödinger’s Climate Denial: several different contradictory denials of climate science, all in superposition, and finally collapsing to whichever one seems most convenient to the present argument.

  4. It is simple logic from any normal healthy brain. You always error on the side of life. Everything else is gambling with life, not good to bet against Mother Nature, the house always wins lol

  5. a fundamental is that it changes. If you haven't noticed we have four seasons Morton Houston some places than others. Everything is in Cycles. You have has one cycles that last 26000 years. The Sun as an 11-year sunspot cycle. What apparently must be pointed out his that there could easily be an Ice Age rather than the planet getting hotter and hotter because the pendulum swings.

  6. in re Daniel Smyth's verbal diarrhœa: huh, habbout that…! I already had no qualm about sending blathering-ignoramus douchenuggets to the cornfield, but now G+'s days are numbered it turns out I have negative qualms about it!

  7. Daniel Smyth You don't understand the difference between climate and weather? Get a STEM education, you're embarrassing.
