So I've concluded that blending a banana into 16oz.

So I've concluded that blending a banana into 16oz. of #Soylent  makes for an easy, enjoyable (yes, I really did enjoy it) lunch of about 580 calories that keeps me full, non-hungry, and non-sleepy for far longer than my typical restaurant lunch of something super carb-y or sugar-laden. Maybe it's a placebo effect or maybe the ingredients in Soylent really  do lessen a blood sugar spike -- whatever the case, I like it.

  6. Banana lessens the sugar spike because of the high content of b6, it's also got tryptophan which the body converts to serotonin, hence the enjoyable bit.

  7. An easy way to feel full is to eat fat with your meal.  Healthy fats like butter, cream, and coconut oil will make a person feel full.  Plus butter makes veggies taste good.  I can easily go 5-6 hours without eating and not be hungry.  Eat fat, get thin.
