Damn shame actually. He was rather centrist, has excellent foreign policy creds and was probably the most respectable of any candidate running. Oh wait, he was the only candidate to advocate a humble foreign policy that didn't require deepening US military involvement, and we can't have that sacred cow touched. Bombs away, another 25 years of failed US foreign policy awaits!
Craig Froehle in a recent statement he supported additional troops to Afghanistan. This position is not extreme, in fact it is status quo for all candidates, as Bernie, like most, have little knowledge or understanding of what can be accomplished through the use of military force.
I do not necessarily fault him, only that I am bummed out that he falls in lock step in this regard, with all other candidates. I do not have the specific article on hand but it can be googled readily enough.
Don't get me wrong, Bernie is no war monger, but more of the same is no better solution either.
I was so fed up with his voting record as Senator that i'd never vote for him for most elected office again. Upside, he served one term and one only as promised.
Good. But ... Missed a chance to rhyme with "Gun" as in his concealed-carry weapon that supposedly accompanies Webb everywhere :)

Poor Webb, he should keep a stiff upper everything.
