I'm pretty sure these don't integrate numbers for any of the Asian martial arts serials, which have been incrementally racking up billions over decades in adjusted dollars. But that's so much less sexy and not invented here, heh.

Bollywood. Less familiar with the figures, bet they are there.

ReplyDelete- Hunger Games
- The Winter Soldier, Avengers 2, etc.
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Avengers
- Hobbit parts 2-3
Some of these have had some big box-office hits in the last 2 years.
Are the dollar amounts adjusted for inflation? Is this just box office in America?

ReplyDeleteSteve S As a one-off film, it wouldn't qualify for this list of series. That's why Avatar isn't on that list, despite it making a crap-ton of $.
