ReplyDeleteYears ago I went to Novato and watched the guys at Industrial Light and Magic build models. It takes hours of work - designing, carving, molding... no more. It's all performed digitally. Back in the 1970's, people built models. Some of them - aka Phil Tippet - are still around.
