ReplyDeleteThese games you're all mentioning are all part of the "old mass market" category of games. Newer games and specialty/hobby games (e.g., Catan, Carcassone, Pandemic, and many thousands more) are much better. If you haven't tried a truly modern board game, you're missing out.
ReplyDeleteI don't see how board games makes you a nicer person with better relationships than, let's say, a Sunday dinner with your family. I guess it might be a cultural thing.
