Given the undeniable connection between burning fossil fuels for power and climate change, it's wonderful to hear of this commitment to cleaner energy by the United Kingdom.

  1. Roldan Is that a reference to the US?

  2. Yes, well, 2025. That's ten years for the commitment to be altered. The coal industry isn't exactly thrilled by such developments.

  3. Roldan My very first thought as well.

  4. The UK already has decommissioned a huge coal plant that was located at Didcot. Time was, when I saw it out the train window, it was time to gather my luggage and get ready to go home.  It's completely torn down now.

  7. There is no climate change or global warming as Al Gore has said. Climate change is the biggest scam in our US history. No one knows what the earth was going through thousands and thousands of years ago but i ancestors knew. The earth is changing as it did long ago and now we're experiencing it as its been told.

  9. Easier to deny the truth than accept some responsibility and sacrifice a little comfort.

  11. Doing nothing requires no sacrifice. Julie, you are the one who wants to do nothing in the face of mountains of evidence.

  12. The name is Julio. My friends call me Cujo.,. Your not my friend. So because you say so I gotta believe it. Let me give you a little secret it's my opinion not yours. Your opinion not mine let's leave it like that. People got the right to believe what they want to and not because somebody tells him so.

  13. You are entitled to your opinion, but facts are facts, and the science is clear, Global Climate Change is destroying the ecosystem on a catastophic global scale. You can bury your head in the sand, but I won't sit by and allow fools to spout their ill-informed opinions without contesting it, Julio.

  17. Consider it like a car... 5 mechanics agree that the problem with the car's rough idle is the timing is off, and they can see that its off using a timing gun or diagnostic computer.

You're opinion here is like the owner's friend who insists that it idles rough because they are using the wrong brand of gasoline.

  18. When the atomic bomb was created that's what causes the ozone to erupt and scientists know that but they won't say that

  19. Julio, you don't even understand what you are talking about.

  26. Plant a tree for every person dead or wounded in Paris, help your neighbor do the same, insist your government create tax incentives for each citizen to plant 500 trees before 2075 and our children might find cause for hope. But, I doubt it. Let terror reign.
