There have been a number of type 2 diabetics who have seen documented improvement through intermittent fasting, as well as people with various inflammatory and other conditions, because of the processes kicked off by fasting. I would still think it's a smart move for diabetics to have doctors monitor them while attempting fasting.
Call me skeptical.

ReplyDeleteLinda Tewes: AFAIU, there has been some (but poorly systematised) evidence that fasting improves diabetes before, so it's not entirely surpising.
