If you are a graphic or fine artist who does commission work, or you know of a G+ user who is, please leave a comment with the type of art you do (or he/she does, along with his/her name). I'm trying to assemble a new circle of graphic/drawing artists available for hire on G+. Thanks.
Alice Fukking Glytxh, would this include you?
ReplyDeleteAaron Wood, you still hanging around G+?
ReplyDeleteI do small drawings in ink, mostly insects and small sea animals.
ReplyDeleteCraig Froehle, yup. I'm still kicking around here. :D
ReplyDeleteI do all sorts of graphic design work including book covers (e-book and print,) logos, and other branding.
Also I do illustrations. :)
Pencil, ink. Drafting, cartography, renders, fantasy and surreal art.
ReplyDeleteAaron Neathery
ReplyDeleteCraig Hilton
Bill Holbrook
Greg Cravens
Perhaps Neathery. He draws Endtown that appears in GoComics, currently three times a week. He has also drawn television commercials.
http://www.gocomics.com/endtown
His patreon account has some nice work. Patreon for artists is a new concept, and I am interested in how, and if, it will work. Some artists have done phenomenally well.

I included Jenner, because he draws Doc Rat. Jenner is busy, being a Dr, teaching Residents, and drawing Doc Rat, but if Neathery is too busy, unavailable or doesn't want to talk, Jenner knows a LOT of artists.
He uses his name, Dr Craig Hilton, for medical stuff, and Jenner for his artwork. He is also the cartoonist for the Royal Australian and New Zealand Medical Journal. Oh, he chose the name years ago, for Dr Edward Jenner.

Bill Holbrook draws Kevin and Kell, and Dethany, from On The Fastrack, in Virtu/Noir.
This takes one to Kevin and Kell, with banners for his other works. On The Fastrack features Dethany. Safe Havens is one of his also.
Dethany in Virtu/Noir is Apple Specific.

Greg Cravens draws The Buckets and Hubris at GoComics, and also has a hubriscomics webpage.
Cravens may be too busy also, but artists know artists.

Older Hubris Comics re-purposed to run on GoComics.

I have returned with the strip links.
Lewis Young You da man!
ReplyDeleteI do small drawing and drawed other detail drawing.
ReplyDeleteMarc Reynes Ferra is a Spanish illustrator.
ReplyDeletePaige Braddock I almost forgot Paige. She doesn't do a lot with Google+.
ReplyDeleteShe stays so busy running Peanuts(R) she hardly has time to keep Jane's World going. She also runs Girl Twirl Comics, and helps other young comic artists grow.

https://paigebraddockcomics.wordpress.com/
She claims to identify with Charlie Brown, but shortly after Braddock met Shulz, he created Pettermint Patty. She doesn't seem to like having that pointed out. And she really does run Peanuts Enterprises.
I would have said myself. It you said "fine" artist
ReplyDeleteGreetings! My style would be best described as "Comic Nouveau" as I combine Art Nouveau with my comic book upbringing.

And on a serious note I do commission work but my branding/logo work is based on cartoon imagery or caricature versus typical graphic design.

ReplyDeleteSteve Gallacci
ReplyDeleteSteve Gallacci is still quite good. He did Albedo Anthropomorphics. So, kind of a legend. I see him in a few comic strip forums, and he did an excellent avatar for:
Robin Baker Barr to use at the Doc Rat forum. The plus I used may or may not be his. He has been kind of down lately. Perhaps a Google+ discussion group can benefit from his expertise at making a living with art. Robin and Dr Craig Hilton(as Jenner, he keeps medical and art separate) should know how to get in touch with him, which is why I called Robin in this post. Robin also knows a lot of artists at CrossTimeCafe comic forums.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't know Steve Galachi. The avatar was done at a request from Jenner. I believe the two of them keep in touch. Jenner is quite busy, but also extremely generous. If communication with Steve is desired, give jenner@docrat.com.au a try.
scribblegraph ● I'm still here and scribbling. Thanks Craig! H/T Bearman Cartoons cheers mate.
