Good point made. I support our Constitution but found it extremely disturbing to hear from a parent who is pushing their college kid to carry a gun on campus because they feel the college is not doing enough to protect them from the recent campus shootouts. They offered No training on how to use the gun...just hand them a gun and tell them to carry it to class.

ReplyDeleteScot Duke Any student on a college campus should be smart enough to understand that, statistically, you're far more likely to be shot if you carry a gun than if you do not. If these people truly want to minimize the risk of getting shot, they will stay as far away from guns as they can.

The question is why are they allowing their children to attend a school that is so unsafe?
ReplyDeleteI don't even understand why guns are allowed. Having a gun in your home is one thing, but bringing it to school/work? Why not just say no to guns?
