ReplyDeleteThe preliminary title that surprised me the first time I heard it was Revenge of the Jedi. It's like he had no sense of his own mythos.
ReplyDeleteJim Douglas I actually have a photo somewhere of a theater poster with that title on it. They were issued to some theaters and then recalled, but my local theater didn't send theirs back, if I remember correctly.

ReplyDeleteI can't find it as easily, but I do recall there's the iconic shot of the Luke-Vader lightsaber battle, with the title, "Revenge of the Jedi" too. Some of the early hype posters that went out before Lucas opted to change the name.
